First our trained practitioners apply a numbing cream to your treatment area to minimise potential discomfort, followed by thoroughly cleansing your skin with a special skin disinfectant solution. We then use the Dermapen to gently penetrate into the skin, promoting the production of new collagen and skin cells.*

Dermapen treatment has no major side-effects.* It is highly unlikely you will experience any infection or scarring.* However, some people do occasionally show signs of the following – all of which disappear within 2-3 days.

More aggressive treatments may also result in scabs and crusting, but this usually subsides in 1-3 weeks. In very rare cases, skin irregularities such as slight hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation may occur.
