Terms and Conditions

Also known as micro needling skin rejuvenation, Dermaroller therapy is a micro skin needling solution designed to reduce the signs of acne scarring and fine lines while improving the overall appearance of your skin.*

Less intrusive than other resurfacing treatments offered in Australia, derma roller skin needling stimulates your body’s natural collagen and elastin production without the help of chemicals or lasers.*

At Instant Laser Clinic, we use the high-quality Micro-Needle Therapy System roller (MTS roller) for quick and safe Dermaroller results with various needle dimensions (0.3 mm-3 mm).

First, we apply a numbing cream to your treatment area to minimise discomfort. After 30 minutes, we use a special skin disinfectant to thoroughly cleanse and disinfect the skin area being treated. Our trained derma roller skin needling practitioner then uses the MTS roller (typically made of fine surgical stainless titanium needles), which is rolled over the skin to lightly puncture the surface in horizontal and vertical passes. The tiny needles of the Dermaroller device puncture the skin just enough to promote collagen and elastin production. A serum can also be used simultaneously to infuse the skin with rejuvenating ingredients.

One Dermaroller treatment in Melbourne takes only 30 minutes and is virtually pain-free, making micro needling skin rejuvenation a fast and effective treatment for anyone wanting to improve the appearance of their skin.*

Causing minimal damage to the skin, dermal rolling skin needling is suitable for all skin types. It is the ideal treatment for a variety of skin conditions, including:

• Acne scarring*
• Stretch marks*
• Fine lines*
• Pigmentation*
• Enlarged pores*
• Surgical scaring*

You will experience no major side effects after Dermaroller treatment. Infection and scarring are very unlikely after Dermaroller for acne scars and other skin concerns. However, some people do occasionally experience the following, all of which disappear within 1-2 days:

• Mild swelling
• Bruising
• Redness

You will usually see results within a few hours of your first Dermaroller therapy session.* However, many patients at our Kew clinic opt for a course of 6 to 8 skin needling sessions to receive the maximum benefits.*

We’ll recommend a personalised micro skin needling treatment program that’s suited to you and your skin.

The cost of microneedling can vary depending on the area and the condition being treated. For example, Dermaroller treatment for acne scars on the face will differ from getting skin needling on a larger area. We will discuss costs in your initial consultation. We recommend 2 to 4 micro needling skin rejuvenation sessions for the most effective, long-lasting results.

Professional in-clinic treatment (per treatment)$250 – $750
Take-home roller$135
