Plasma Pen

A Plasma pen is a non- surgical device which uses fractional plasma energy to instantly contract and tighten the skin fibres, resulting in a reduction of the skin’s surface.

The Plasma Pen hand piece produces an arc of plasma energy that heats skin tissues so rapidly, that it has no time to be burned – so it simply evaporates leaving tiny brown spots on the skin.

Excess skin disappears. No need for a scalpel, no surgery and no long recovery time. Therefore, it is the ultimate alternative to surgical blepharoplasty. It lifts, tightens and reduces wrinkles and puffiness, sagging and darkness around the whole eye area.

An ionized “arc’ acts on the surface of the skin via the tip of the pen without it making any contact with the skin. A tiny point of skin – only a fraction of a millimetre is vaporized. The immediate area is instantly tightened.

There is minimal pain, and results can be immediate.

A minimum 5-7 days puffiness, redness, mild scabbing and peeling of the skin can be expected. The larger the area treated the more down time is needed.

Camouflage makeup can be worn after approximately 24 hours.

Crusts can occur on the skin, but will usually disappear after 5 – 7 days which in most cases, full recovery can be expected within 8-10 days.

A single treatment, most often can achieve the desired result, but the procedure can be repeated again in 6 -8 weeks after the first session to further improve the outcome.
